The Fifth of November
A modern Leeds thriller. A group of men meet in a quiet Alwoodley house to plan an act of violence for the fifth of November. One of them begins to have second thoughts.

The Rain Over Leeds
A body in a passage off Briggate. A wallet still full. An address in Seacroft hidden in the dead man's coat. Frank Salters has one question — not who killed Daniel Mercer, but who wanted the address found.

About Liam Barrantine
Liam Barrantine is 56 and lives in North Yorkshire with his family. He holds a degree in criminology and worked for many years as a forensic investigator, an experience which informs the procedural detail and the slow unravelling of evidence in his fiction. He has a particular interest in murder mysteries, the mechanics of a crime, the inconsistencies in witness accounts, the small things that do not fit. The Rain Over Leeds is his first novel.
