Self Consciousness
from my published anthology, Ornamental Expressions: The Yellow Butterfly, published by Pegasus.
Self consciousness
One may term it a disease
It may start while yet young
And make one displeased
With their looks and how they feel
They’ll think they don’t appeal
Though their very wrong
It seems very real
Some get over it as time goes by
Yet some don’t, on others they rely
Do you not see that people don’t care?
Their more concerned about their own welfare
So next time you go out be light in mind
You have your own life to Live, am I not right?
